If you want to play games about magic, wizards, and witches, but don't want to pay $60 for a game that pays royalties to a transphobe, itch.io has a bundle for you!
It's called the
Trans Witches are Witches bundle, and includes 69 nice items developed by LGBTQ+ creators including games, tabletop game resources, music, and zines for the same price as
Hogwarts Legacy. Or if you're too poor to pay $60 for games (like me), there's also a
$10 version that has most of the same stuff in it. And since the money will be split between the creators, you'll be supporting LGBTQ+ creators when you buy the bundle.
I'm not judging anybody that wants to buy and play
Hogwarts Legacy. I believe that everybody has to weigh what matters to them and make their own choice, and I'll admit it's easy for me because I'm not a fan of Harry Potter or $60 games. But I think it's awesome that there's an alternative out that will truly support LGBTQ+ creators, and thought some people in Wintreath would be interested in it.
