Now that we're established, it's a good time to pick our first Club President!

According to our charter, the Club President maintains our compliance with the Regional Clubs Act (mostly that the club has at least 5 Citizens and contributes an event or activity every season), keeping the club active, and accepting or rejecting applications to join. Since we're just starting out, this term will be short...just until regular elections on December 1st. So if you otherwise wouldn't want to commit to a 3-month term, this might be a good opportunity to try it out for a shorter time.

If you'd like to stand to be our Club President, please post here! Nominations will remain open for 3 days, or until everyone has indicated whether they want to stand or not.

If I've shown anything in the past month, it's that I'm not nearly active enough to be a president of anything other than my work schedule (and there is open debate regarding that, at home).

I'd be happy with just about anyone who decides that they have the time, energy and drive to devote to it, though!

Hmmmm seems like it might be hitting a dead end. Are we able to nominate someone? Because my vote would go for @Wintermoot! I mean you did get everything set up and are doing a good job of keeping everyone active. I wouldn't see anyone else who would be a good first pick for our president o7

I also nominate Wintermoot Makes sense given how he's helped set this all up, and to have his name as the first Club President in the annals of history would cement that.

Given that nobody else is interested, I'll accept since it's just a little over a month.

But this is just a temporary thing, and I wouldn't accept any nominations for the next term when they open up in a few weeks. My goal was to get things started and show the rest of Wintreath what a club could be and how to go about starting one. I'm always glad to contribute as I can, but I'm hoping in the long run clubs will reduce the pressure for me and the government to always have to keep things active...spread it around to more people in small bits.

So everyone be thinking of who wants to take this over in a few weeks.

In the meantime, is there anyone who wants to be Vice-President?

Unless anyone wants the position, I will be happy to be Vice-President.
