  • Approximate start date would involve some agreement on what a reasonable length of time between Games is. I was thinking 6 weeks or so.

So if Werewolf 29 starts approximately mid August

Than Werewolf 30 would have an approximate start date of early October

Werewolf 31 would have an approximate start date of mid November

Werewolf 32 would have an approximate start date of early January

  • After listening to the discussion about this proposal, I'd like to suggest a compromise. Instead of fully adopting the Bidding system for all games, I suggest we split the game selection process into 2, even games and odd games. Even games will use the current system, where hosts can reserve games well in advance. The odd numbered games will be under the auspices of the Thane to ensure game balance between more complex and more vanilla games. The Thane may use whatever selection method they feel is appropriate in the moment for odd numbered games. What does everyone think?

  • I'm going to sound decidedly like I just object to everything here lol

It needs to be streamlined either way complexity makes it harder for prospective hosts to figure out where to go. I guess it could work...

While I obviously prefer the old way I think it needs to be one or the other and no matter which gets chosen I think it's imperative that the process be one and the same.

But if we go this route I want to know is it just going to firmly become even=bastard odd=vanilla

Because of everyone reserving a slot chooses to run a bastard game how do you decide where else to slot a vanilla

And my 2nd worry is what if hosts only use one system or the other. What if we can't fill odd number games because the old system is just easier for people?
