Hi there everyone!

You're probably wondering why I haven't tossed up the usual Wintreath's Finest nominations yet since I've been doing those in a timely manner, and this is why!  We've been talking about doing a full fledged awards thing for a while now, and I figured, why not do it now?

So yes, you read that right, instead of doing a Wintreath's Finest this month, we're instead doing the Wintreath Mid-Year Awards to give some shoutouts to folks who may embody some of our core values (or all of them for our all new Spirit of Wintreath award), as well as the usual joke awards...among with some others such as what you consider the best forum/discord game, as well as some shoutouts to the nationstates region with Best Flag and Best Factbook/Dispatch awards!

Now you may be asking: What do you get with these awards? With Wintreath's Finest, you get a neat color for the month...so what's in it for the winners of these 20 (yes you read that right, 20) awards?

The answer is simple: Bragging rights!  Yes, while there's no shiny badge (yet) for Mid-Year Awards winners, you get the bragging rights that come with being voted as the Most Helpful member, or the Most likely to be condemned by the World Assembly.

However, two award winners will still get the shiny Discord role as they're both highly honored titles: As always Wintreath's Finest will get the color of their choice which they can show off for the month to honor what they've done for the region.  Likewise, the winner of the Spirit of Wintreath award will also get a special role with a color that they can show off for the month to also honor them for what they've been for the region.

Also, I know it's super tempting, but let's keep it to voting for others rather than ourselves.  The point is to recognize others for what they do, after all!

We usually do both, yes.  But since there's 19 other awards plus a new Spirit of Wintreath award, I figured one WfitM could be skipped.
