The most telling things from people are how they react to us.

As you've already pointed out, some people have a concensus that you/I are paired. I would definitely day Mele and Gerrick epitomize that outlook. Corbin is definitely focused on me for extremely poor reasons (hiding behind words, post length, etc.), yet I don't get that same vibe from him as I do Mele and Gerrick wrt to susing you and I as a team.

Kane's recent post is one I dislike because it's hedging. The one thing I don't get is how he falls in with the logic Mele has been peddling that Aers succeeded with his targeting to affect the NL targets when there is no indication of the such (chances being lower that there was a success vs just normal targeting). Further, the belief that I am 3p because of NoName dying. It's an arbitrary pick that you'd believe I'm the 3p. Especially since, seemingly, the reason is that because it was NoName that died to the Killer and I was voting NoName that makes me more likely to be said Killer.

It's disingenuous analysis at best that.


If we chop through someone to find scum, I'd day there is a potential hit inside Mele/Gerrick. I'm not as sure wrt to Corbin, but he could just be being coached by his team (if the team is Mele/Gerrick) Given his approach to the game thus far. Could be. The strict alternative being he's just completely wrong as town and will continually place subpar analysis as the game continues.

Back to Kane: that kind of post I could see coming from a 3p player. You'd expect a 3p player, given how loud Neon and I are, to just lay low and let things play out. That as opposed to posting loudly, but if posting, then hedging on perspectives would be a thing. Like, take Kane's view that I may be town. Ok, cool. Why, then, would you consider going me because you think I'm town? Because you think I may be scum? Then what, exactly do you believe? And why are you not seeking to resolve that properly outside of flipping my slot? Because, ultimately, your action literally undermines your words which serves to indicate a true lack of being genuine in the perspective you put forth.

Mele/Gerrick/Corbin as a scum team based on how thread has progressed doesn't feel right in that it absolutely has to be right.

Like, fights are being picked among, mostly, five of us. Then you have the likes of Kane coming in and adding a little fuel to the fire.

Zooming out, we still have others not heavily participating. The key problem, for me, is whether or not we're dealing with active scum players. Proactive rather -- those getting involved. Because that would point to the likes of Mele/Gerrick; however, if t/t as far as fighting goes, then scum can sit back and watch (a la Kane) since it's less work.

I think flipping Gerrick here will help resolve whether or not there is merit to a scum Mele. Especially since Mele was the first to be vocal about the perspectives Gerrick/Corbin/Kane have echoed.

That should help calibrate who to look at further then.

For once, I actually agree with KoD.  In all honesty, I don't entirely feel comfortably hopping on the current wagon, as I think there's too big of a potential of both being towns that just have rubbed the rest of town wrong enough to give off scum vibes.

That being said, I do actually think flipping Gerrick will provide some interesting info that could end up helping us out one way or another.

So sure, I'll follow that road and see where it leads.

To be fair to me, I'm not playing this game at full capacity. Lots of BS has been occurring IRL, and so you've been getting just woke up Mele and just got off work Mele, neither of which are at full brain power.

With that said, I viscerally hate how many people jumped on the KoD train I started, especially since most of them have super flimsy reasons and see KoD as a 3P while somehow still citing my reasons KoD and Neon are paired. Super fishy.

I actually want to flip Kane over Gerrick, but Gerrick has the votes, and we need a wagon to go over.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, the reactions to Aerso swapping were very informative, and I'm feeling a lot better about KoD's slot.

Kane I can see being 3P, and his post with his reasons for voting KoD read more like "here's a bunch of reasons KoD probably isn't scum", which makes his vote on KoD really sus.

Gerrick hasn't said much, and I'm mainly wondering why he didn't try to start a wagon on Neon since he seems to townread KoD more than Neon, and the KoD wagon had yet to fully take off at that point.

I feel like Svipjoth has contributed less than Corbin, with most of the posts being about being new and bewildered. If one of the new players is being coached by scumchat, I'd say it's Svipjoth, especially since the main reason folks seem to be townreading Svipjoth is because of tone.

Corbin, I will be shocked if he turns out to be scum because the main reason he's being scumread is also tone, and I'll be honest, I don't trust tone reads. I look at Corbin, and ignoring the tone of his posts, I see a new player who has no guidance except that which is provided in this thread, and who is trying his hardest with what little he has to learn on the fly.

Michi, I still want to deathtunnel 5evar. Which means he's probably town. I am just automatically suspicious of anyone who vibes so wholly with my read on the game because that practically never happens without the other player having TMI.

Dolby, where are you?

Neon is pinging me like in Botwolf where she was technically scum but working to win with town, so if Kane isn't 3P, Neon is the most likely candidate in my books.

Huh, weird how quickly those votes piled on me over the course of just over an hour in the middle of the night. Almost like there's some scum chat happening there.

Welp, might as well reveal. I'm a town lookout. Last night I watched Neon and they were visited by Dolby and visited Aersoldorf. Aersoldorf was killed last night by the Chief Wolf. Ergo, Neon is Chief Wolf. GG, all.

@Melehan @Michi change your vote please

Didn't want to go too hard on Neon without having to claim, and since Melehan pointed out how well she and KoD had been working together, I agree that they look like a scum team. And since Melehan had a vote on KoD, might as well vote him now and Neon after he flips scum.

Anyway, if I die now and Michi doesn't change his vote, I'm betting Neon/KoD/Michi scum team. 

Especially if Neon as Chief Wolf can't die until the other wolves die, I didn't want to go after her first. Might have made me seem like I was throwing her under the bus knowing she was invincible. 

Note how I asked about the chief wolf role immediately at the start of the day phase. Also I said when voting KoD that I preferred Neon but didn't want to go there yet. So I didn't pull this out of my ass just now.
