FYI your past avatars of the month archive is missing quite a few from the latter half of last year.

That's because we didn't have an avatar of the month in the months of May (had a thread, but no theme was ever decided), June, August, September, October, and November of 2021.  It kinda went into a hiatus until I brought it back in December after taking over the Jarlship.

Huh, I could swear I saw Gerrick making them, I guess I got them confused with Wintreath's Finest. And/or probably saw the July one and assumed the rest were also there.

Ah wait: August's theme was Oceans though.

It looks like the winning theme for this year's Summersend Festival is the Oceans! Like Michi pointed out, we'll probably go closer to an underwater theme rather than a beach theme since we already did that one year.

And (definitely not because I forgot to put up an Avatar Theme of the Month thread earlier...) I'm declaring this month's avatar theme to also be the Oceans! So let that inspire you to change your forum avatars for the festival.
