  • I personally don’t think that survivor would fit that definition, on Vro’s logic

Like, if said town has a triple kill for example, they can win but also I doubt that world would be considered as part of cannot win together

  • Also I think that surv is just way to easy and convienient an explanation

That said there were multiple third parties as of game start so maybe

  • Yeah I’m leaving my vote

This could be a red herring but like

I don’t think that surv is can’t win inclusive bc it should have capacity to win with everyone at all times

  • Any alignments that have or had potential to not be able to win together are considered opposing

This says if they have the potential to not be able to win together. Survivors absolutely have the potential to not be able to win with town. If it comes down to Sk vs potential hostile 3rd party vs Survivor, then Survivor can still win there and town can't.

  • TL;dr

I think potential to not be able to win together was specifically inclusive of the claimed mafia/town and  not a surv.

Otherwise why not just say different alignment bc that’s kinda inclusive of everythingg

  • We don't even know if mafia is considered town now or just mafia without kill power. Also it could have just said "any alignment that can't win with town" and still included the mafia/town if they indeed are town now.

given Lau claims to know that Mars was a wolf, I'm fine with this

only person who is not a good coroner check would be Bob

  • I'm firmly at the "opposing" language being meaningful but w/e Lau and Vro aren't w/w doing a play and Vro has to survive and win something like a 12v1v1 lol

    just uh

    keep him in mind

  • You're not understanding that right, Vro.

Wrt to your scenario, that doesn't matter because strictly speaking, per the way a survivor works, they win as long as they live to the end (typically speaking). Even evil roles outnumbered town three to one, that doesn't equate to survivor ***not*** being able to win with the town. There is no potential to not be able to win with the town. That's the key point.

Contrast that with what supposedly happened with the wolves after Lau's no lynch condition was met. If the role itself remains unchanged from what it fundamentally was, despite being town now, it ***had*** potential to not win with the town. Thus it is still a threat to the town. If what happened is that they can no longer nk, but are still mafia, then they still have potential to not be able to win with the town. Thus they are still a threat.

This is extremely different from a survivor.

Despite what's been said, no one that is mafia has stepped forth which doesn't do much to make us think they are part of town now.

ngl was kinda thinking this when I first got my report, but that is such a fucking ballsy play from Lau. I'd assume that he'd have some sort of messenging ability or host comms if scum. I think he scum is the only world where we lose

KoD's post doesn't mean that Lau is lying or is mafia. I mean the host at least confirmed that Lau did meet a condition of his role. But it could mean that Mafia is still Mafia just without a nk. Lau admits he never knew if they would specifically become town. Just that he assumed that.

  • Lau's success has revealed the gimmick of the game.

My boyfriend and I were having a conversation one night as I was trying to explain why I play Werewolf and he asked what makes the wolves evil? A question I couldn't answer. Day 1 we start accusing people of being evil and lynch them without regard every single time. If you lived in that world and were a wolf chilling in a town and all your neighbors started screaming for blood would you feel safe? Would you defend yourself against the mob? Something something witches in monty Python something something.

Town still wins by eliminating the remaining threats to town.
idk this makes it seem like they aren't a threat at least if lau good
basically the only world I conceive us losing is if lau pretty much forged this message
