The sun sets on another day over London and Becky looks playfully at Leigh. “Come on…” she whines, pulling at Leigh’s shirt.
“Becky…” Leigh starts but she looks at Becky pouting and sighs. “Why are you like this?”
“Because you love me and you’ll do anything I ask if I’m cute enough,” Becky giggles.
“So you admit you're using our relationship to get what you want?”
“Pretty much,” Becky laughs as Leigh gets up and grabs her coat.
“Fine, everyone is sleeping, let's go explore the city,” Leigh grabs Becky and pulls her close. “You're going to get me killed…”
“Scared because of the body?” Becky asked.
“Well…a little bit…but I’m more scared of Emily.”

Jacob walked out into the coldness of the night and towards his car, sighing after another day spent fighting…he was beginning to feel the effects of the clashing arguments he had to have everyday. He was tired of the fight.
From off in the darkness he heard a whistle, turning to look he saw a flashlight blinking on and off in the direction of the woods nearby. He placed his hand on his gun and walked over towards the light. “Police! Is there anyone over here!” he shouted. There was no answer for a moment. Suddenly he heard a familiar voice from the shadows.
“Jacob,” it was Max Friedman.
“Kinda weird for a politician to be skulking in the shadows no?” Jacob asked, taking his hand off his gun. “I assume there’s a reason?”
“I’m beginning to think there’s more at work in this city…I want to work with someone I can trust.” Max placed his hand on Jacob’s shoulder. “Go home and look in your office.”
The politician smiled, turning on his heels and walking away.
Confused, the detective got into his car and drove home. His front door was propped open and he entered the house with his gun drawn. After a thorough search he closed the door and walked into his office. On the table he found a letter.

Dear Jacob,
It has often been true that we’ve butted heads here and there but I want you to understand that I am not here to hamper the search for your brother's killer, and I was not trying to hide things from you in my office. It’s true that my office is bugged and my job on the line, I’ve been threatened, I've been forced to hide information. Consider this an olive branch.
Attached was a document, the detective looked through the files and photos and smiled. Finally he had some information to work with.
