Explain to me why we're not lynching Arena?
Yes, I know that Laur is one reason even though that's, in and of itself, questionable. Because, again, lynching is the means by which town can utilize information gathering (no reason to suspect that a lynch won't obtain information as opposed to, ya know, reveals upon death thanks to the numerous times death information has been nullified) as well as eliminating people that we, collectively, find to be suspicious. As it stands we've been constantly no lynching to no avail for us other than just not losing an extra body. The trade off, in and of itself, is hidden as far as I have gathered from reading around. Laur exclaims it will help town -- that he is town; however, to date, he hasn't explained the benefit nor has it helped ***town*** direct the course of eliminations/reveals. That's been entirely at the discretion of night actions -- the mafia more so than not.
The only benefit I saw was from the claims of several people which led to pointing fingers at Arena (Michi's ability to see who targets his target or if he target does stuff -- Dolby being his target). Yet, despite that, Arena still lives AND people are still no lynching knowing full well after several days we'll get another death with it likely being concealed (this, based on the last few days -- we have no reason to expect different which lands town where exactly? With another dead, no reveal, and no information with which to work with.).
I saw talk about the flavor and connecting people to said flavor. Most notably I've seen Michi likened to the reporter that saw absolutely nothing (to which it seems Michi is in agreement that that is likely him). Cool. In that same vein, I saw it fielded that Laur could be the "corrupt" politician (I haven't followed the flavor in great detail -- I am aware of the setting, some of the characters, and some of the scenes that have played out, but that's it). If you think Laur, based on flavor, is the politician and that that hints towards him being dangerous to the town, well, like someone else said -- do something about it. Playing into the No Lynch day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day is, like I said above, getting town no where.
To that end, I call for a lynch on Arena to actually force an attempt for information gathering and to eliminate Arena for not one, but two instances now of having been suspected of something fowl. That is, collectively as a town, we haven't had a lynch to see what THAT will do. It's only been the night kills driving the (lack of) information. We, from where I stand, have nothing to lose in lynching someone who, onto the next point, has been brought up as having lied about what was claimed wrt to the targeting of Dolby. This also addresses the concern brought up by Silver that someone is acting like him -- acting like his role. And to top it off, we get to see if information obtained by the lynch will be blocked (role, aligntment, etc).
So vote for Arena.

I haven't read the last few pages in detail (I scanned over them to get a sense of what was being discussed). I saw your post, responding to Aers, about how you don't get why you're getting flak for your post about Aers back on D1. Who has been giving you flak recently over that?
