Also, started a new job today. I'll be working nights and spent most of last week trying to acclimate myself to that schedule before learning on Friday that my first week would be on days for training. So I'm exhausted at the moment and too tired to think. Also, unlike my previous job, I'm not sure how much flexibility I'll have accessing frivolous websites from work for entertainment during the day and I'm not solid on my ability to access this from my phone rather than a PC. Long story short, if we absolutely must lynch someone D1 and don't want to risk hitting a PR then I volunteer. It will be at least tomorrow afternoon ( 20 hours from now) before I'm able to even try to catch up with this thread. I'm relatively (or perhaps entirely, still seeking clarification on my role) unimportant in the grand scheme of things here. I'd rather not be lynched, but if we absolutely must kill someone then I'm probably not a bad choice. Hopefully by the time I get home from work tomorrow I'll have a better understanding of my role and can go from there, but I've really got to go to bed now because I can't keep my eyes open much longer.

Under normal circumstances I'd side-eye almost the whole damned thread for not one person pointing out how easily it would be for Wolves to just jump onto No Lynch, except kinda Dolby and Vro, who, at least to my understanding, seem to implicitly think this is the case.

Considering I was the one to point out the NL most likely is linked to your role and nets you a power, I think it's more likely the wolves are avoiding the NL wagon to avoid empowering a non-wolf.

I kinda agreed with this post being sus. It feels like bare bones reason for calling someone scummy, as if ENE has seen people use the excuses is a scum play before and is trying to push that here. Especially since Aersoldorf posted a bit in a short time, not over the day phase.

Extremely scummy posts, pushes the idea of a No Lynch D1 which is CONSTANTLY disapproved by veteran, doesn't put his money where his mouth is at, put all responsibility on Lau, and even throws shade at them possibly being 3p. If you're even CONSIDERING the possibility of them not being town why in heavens would you suggest following them?
Also the post restrictions are probably memes. We have ESL players here and restrictions like these would just be brutal/unfair unless roles were handpicked as opposed to randomized.
Meh. "No lynch disapproved by veteran" doesn't mean much to me. Different places play differently, different mechanics encourage different plays. I still think Lau is more likely than not town, but since then I've read something that lead me to believe that Lau probably has another win-con (which is to no-lynch).

How in the world was I the 2nd highest poster? And how can you even tell here? It's easy at home, but if there's a way to quickly tell how many posts each person has made in this thread please share the knowledge.
Now, I did do an ISO of ENE and discovered that his very first post this game was simply a no lynch vote. He then made another post summing up some thoughts about how different people had acted and then with his 3rd post in this game he spouted this gem. I'm still shocked to discover that at that point I was the 2nd highest poster in the game (assuming his facts are correct since I have no way of verifying). But if you ISO me you'll find that I made ALL of my posts in the span of about an hour or so last night. Which was the point I intended to make when I said that I wouldn't be as active this game. I started a new job yesterday and I cannot make posts from work at this time. I'm in training and so I have to constantly listen to and then emulate my trainer. Even though I did figure out that I could log on and read posts from my phone I simply haven't had the time to do so while at work. So for my entire workday yesterday and today I've not said anything. I also find it rather disingenuous and scummy for him to come at me like this without simply looking at how quickly I made the posts that I made last night and at least acknowledging the FACT that for the majority of the TIME that this game has been underway that I've been absent. At my previous job I could keep my personal email open to notice if I'd been quoted or anything, and also keep the actual game thread open and refresh it from time to time to see if there were any new posts - and then respond. I simply don't have those options available to me now.
It's also true that I still don't really understand my role. I have absolutely no idea of who I am. I have zero powers or abilities at the present time. I've been told that I MAY gain some in the future depending on what happens in the game thread, but I WAS NOT TOLD what triggers this to happen. That's the entire reason that I stated that while I DON'T WANT TO BE LYNCHED, I'm at least willing to say that I don't think it would hurt the town terribly to lynch me instead of a potential power role.
That being said, as much as I'd love to vote for Dolby and try to overcome the NL vote, I'm going to hammer my stake in the ground on what I currently perceive to be the most scummy thing said or done thus far in the game and vote for ENE. I know that I said last night that I was going to vote for Michi, but that was because I found it rather open-wolfy of him to keep saying and striking through the word wolf in every single post he made, but after reading the comments made today I've come to accept that that might actually be a condition placed upon him by our lovely hostess. I'm still mad she never invited me over for tea the last time so that we could discuss books.

I am scum-reading you for pre-emptive defensiveness (and as of this post also of over-defensiveness). I don't mind whatsoever that you have a new job and can only post limitedly, I wouldn't even mind if you only had two posts up to this point. What I do mind is when you're hiding behind it. For large parts of your posts above you're talking about how you cannot post that much. Yet you have one of the highest amounts of posts (can't check right now, but I'm assuming). As for why I voted NL, Lau said a few things throughout the day phase that made me think his power involves making players who vote NL with him unkillable during the day and night. Considering the game is still ongoing, it's safe to rule out the 3rd party deus ex kumbaya I theorized earlier. Which means Lau and everyone else who voted NL is most likely unkillable tonight.
Also, Lau you made it to the night phase with posts to spare! Such a feat of self-control!
I also have reason to suspect that one of the scumteam lies among the post-restrictioned.

Glorious Bob thinks this post is a little bit towny, but wants to point out that when someone creates slank cover for themselves and then doesn't use said slank cover it is a high percentage town tell.
Much much earlier near the game start when I stated that Aers is scum, it was because he essentially did the same thing in the last mafia game here (Worlds Collide). While ENE's description is extremely condensed and doesn't cover the overall content of Aers' posts, his feel is certainly founded as far as I am concerned for a general view of Aers' alignment at this point up until I've assessed what he's been posting (and that mostly, to me, over these past days has seemed like it's centered around poetry competition with Arenado).
Also, I could see the attempted pocketing of Laur by Dolby; however, given Laur's penchant for peace pushing (with no idea how far that will carry into the game) it would seem like an odd choice of a player to pocket if attempting to push a non-peace agenda (like pushing for a lynch on Aers). Way I see it, Dolby was just making friends with Laur.

Aersol is likely an erratic post as both alignments; as someone who was in the mafia team with him last game I can vouch that he seemed extremely hyperactive and thus him being unable of posting is NAI.
Really disliking the ENE content so far, I'll prolly leave my vote here for now:

Hard disagree on both accounts. The surface level read is entirely fair if you see a player say one thing, but do another entirely. As Glorious Bob put it later, Aers creating that cover for himself and then not utilizing it wouldn't seem scummy (towny as a matter of fact); however, as I mentioned previously and as you now bring up (which I disagree with), Aers has already shown a similar style (I use "style" here loosely as it is mainly a conversation about his activity per se) in that last game (Worlds Collide in which you were scum with him and lost due to being hidden behind and I will never let you forget) that we are seeing here. Unless you compare the previous game and whatever earlier games he's played elsewhere to get a better sense of his style, saying likely isn't a strong foundation to argue against what he's established so far to a few of us.
Now, I'm not going to go out of my way to read more stuff (20+ pages to cover here before deadline in like -- 5ish hours? -- isn't something I am keen on). His content will be more telling if anything, and the point ENE brought up, that I agree with, is just a point against Aers as far as I am concerned. Lynch worthy? Sure, I'd be willing to throw down on that because I'm definitely not a peace lover like Laur over there. I'll see how I feel over the next few hours as I trudge through all this.
This is a good post explaining the Aerso post better. Still not sure if I totally agree with it but I feel that at least KoD has more reason to sus Aerso off of that post than others who did.
