It is once more time for Wintreath to decide who it wants to send to represent our unique style at the Mafia Championships!

Last year, @Melehan did an incredible job, and although she didn't advance, she was up against some MU main-stays, some of whom actually said that they felt she should have advanced instead of them.

It is always a great way to make new friends and get exposure to new play styles, as well. I have to once more warn that these games are far more active than the ones you're used to in Wintreath, so decide carefully whether it is something you will be able to devote time to, but from personal experience, the activity level is manageable when you use MU's sophisticated tools to your advantage, as well.

This feels early this year.

As much as I dislike MU, I won't say it's a hard no from me as Midnight Brain is still a thing and would probably do a decent job. And just maybe there's a chance I get a PR and don't hate it so much anyway.

Edit: So I read the setup for this year and how in holy hell did they make things even *more* boring? Still, possibility to rand wolf ig. 

I'm a tentative maybe. 

I had so much fun last year. It was a really hard game, and I'm not surprised I didn't advance because wow were there a lot of really good players in that game, but I had so much fun. If you're on the fence about participating, I'd personally recommend giving it a go based on my own experience.

I'm also going to take this opportunity to note, before anyone tries to nominate me, that I'm not very available this time around (as evidenced by my complete lack of mafia participation these past few games; I'm sad I missed Botwolf the Sequel).

I may or may not be on the jury this year. The ones of you who've played on MU before might know a few of the other jury members as well.

I could theoretically do it. I'm not good though lol

There's a wide range of skill levels in champs games. In my quals last year about two thirds of the playerlist barely even showed up.

Yeah it would certainly be intresting but my playstyle almost never meshes well outside Wintreath lol

We ended up conducting a poll on the Discord to decide who would rep us, and I am pleased to announce that @Michi will once more rep us at champs! Please read through the documentation carefully and let the organisers know which dates and times would work best for you. You must also please choose a second, so that in the event you need to sub out, you can let the player of your choice carry on in your slot.
