The Monarch's Guide to Wintreath II: The Forums

Continuing our basic guide, this week I’d like to discuss our forums. While the Discord is where most casual chat happens, the forums also have a number of general discussion forums for slower, more deliberate discussion. It’s also the official seat of government where you can become a Citizen (more on this in a future guide), vote and run in elections, and participate in our all-Citizen legislature (more on this in a future guide). There’s a number of fun forum games that you can take part in, some of which we’ve developed on our own and are unique to Wintreath. We’ll go over our forum games in a future guide, but the most popular ones are Werewolf and Spyfall, which are both party games of intrigue and deception.

Joining our forums is simple, just register an account here, then check the email you registered with for our email to verify your account. Once verified, you can post in all the public forums, from discussions and spam to forum games and roleplay. Just find a topic you like in it and join in on it! If you register an account on the forums this week and make at least 10 posts, I’ll recognize you in the next edition of The Frosty Bugle.

News from Wintreath
Voting for Wintreath's Finest to Begin Soon!

Nominations are still going on for Wintreath's Finest, with voting to start as soon as today! Wintreath's Finest is our monthly contest for Citizens to choose who among them have gone above and beyond in the last month, with the winner getting their own custom role on the forums and Discord as well as a Krone award. If you'd like to make a nomination, this is a last call to do so at the link! And don't forget to vote (which will also be at the link!)

Another Victorious Z-Day

The NationStates Z-Day event saw a virus turn our residents into ghoulsome zombies! However, as always our nations pulled together, quickly researching a cure and getting to work on containing the outbreak. At the end of the event, we ranked 11th for most survivors and 4th for most survivors in regions with no quarantine, matching for exceeding the regional records we set last year. Great work and congrats to everyone who participated or led our efforts!

Among Us Fun with Kingdom of Great Britain

On October 22nd and 23rd we came together with the Kingdom of Great Britain for two nights of Among Us Games, with the first night hosted by them and the second hosted by us. The event was a great success, with good turnout and fun had by all! We look forward to future events with our friends in KoGB!
