Wintermoot Introduces the Autumn Cabinet!This season brought a new process where Alders were appointed based on their accomplishments in the last season and Thanes were elected by the Cabinet. This season did not see any competitive thane elections, but Michi/
Penguin Dictators won Thane of World Assembly Affairs and Thane of Gaming by default, and is now working to secure the in-game delegacy! trader also joined as Alder.
Wintermoot proclaimed Ruguo as Earl of Solvkre, in recognition of their long record of service and accomplishment in Wintreath in every area from culture to foreign affairs, which he elaborated on in the announcement. The title of Earl is a new one in Wintreath, and was suggested by Ruguo as a gender-neutral option to the equivalent title of Count/Countess.
Wintreath in Statistics - August EditionThis month's edition continued to tell the tale of two Wintreaths. One, the forums and NationStates RMB, continued to improve over August, with the RMB in particular having the busiest August since Wintreath was founded in 2013. The second, the Discord, continues to languish with activity dropping another 25%. It's hoped that the region will continue to recover from the summer lull in September, with improvements in all three platforms.
