It's time to start planning for this year's Summersend Festival! In case you don't know, Summersend is Wintreath's annual culture festival celebrating (for those of us in the northern hemisphere) the coming end of the summer with a week jam-packed with forum games, Discord games, spam games, RPs, and other activities with our fellow Wintreans as well as our friends from other communities.

With this year's Summersend Festival dates (August 21-29) and theme (the Oceans) decided, it's now time to start planning all of the games, activities, and everything else related to the festival!

Post below if you have any ideas for an event you'd like to run or would just like to see during the festival or if you'd like to run an event but aren't sure what you'd like to host yet.

I have an idea I'm going to try to do, but it's a surprise.

I'll be out of town from the 22nd to the 1st, so I'm likely to be entirely absent from the festival for its official duration.

Would it even be summersend without someone coming up with a crazy way to run a rapid werewolf game?

I'll continue my tradition of hosting a Questions game.  Any recommendation on how many questions to allow before giving the answer away?

Probably won't have the time for hosting (and possibly also participating in) other games this time though.  These next semesters are going to be tough.

Hmm depends on how difficult it is. Maybe start with a 20 question one then a more difficult 40 question one after? 

Also we'll definitely have a post count contest, badge creation contest, and Arena game (lmk if you're interested in hosting).

I'll possibly host a spyfall game, but we'll see. The idea I have in mind fits the classic crazy summersend spyfall tradition, but it may not work out lol.
