Wintreath Alder Elections
Nominate and Stand for Election!

Alders are representatives to the Cabinet elected directly by Citizens. They have no particular portfolio, but are expected to participate in Cabinet discussions and contribute in any capacity that they feel able to. Alders are also voting members when it comes to Acts of Cabinet.

In this topic you may stand or nominate someone else to stand for election for one of the three open Alder positions in the Cabinet! Only Citizens can be nominated for or stand for elections. Please be aware that serving on the Cabinet requires that you be on the Discord server under an account linked to your forum profile. If you're on the server and your name is not white, you're probably good to go. Candidates that don't meet this requirement at the end of nominations will be invalidated.

Once you have stood for election, you must create a campaign topic in this forum before the start of elections on Tuesday, June 1st that at a minimum proves the following information:

1) Why are you running for this position?
2) What areas of the Cabinet are you particularly interested in working with, and why?
3) What qualifications or experience do you have that you feel will help you as Alder?
4) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions.

Because two people stood for three seats, @Qymaen and @Gerrick win their seats by default and will assume office on the 7th. The remaining seat will be vacant for the term. This forum will remain open until the 7th so anyone can still ask questions and reply in campaigns, but congrats to Qymaen and Gerrick!
