Yes it is I, your humble Jarl of Foreign Affairs running for a Thaneship in Integration.
1) Why are you running for this position?Because ideally I'd love to see a full deck cabinet for at least one term, and Integration is another area I can explore on my journey of seeing how I mesh with different areas of the cabinet.
2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane? As part of this, you must include at least one thing that you promise to do beyond the minimum listed duties of the position during your term. It should be measurable, so that it's black and white whether you fulfilled this mandate at the end of the term if you are elected.2a) If you are an incumbent running for re-election, did you fulfill your mandate from the September election? If not, why didn't you?I actually want to go back and look at some of the areas that Point Breeze had explored that kinda fizzled when they left, such as Mentorships. Ideally, I'd love to get that system back up and running so that we can go back to new members having a mentor that shows them the ropes. I know it's something that was helpful for some of our older members when they joined, and it's something that could still be beneficial today. Getting the foundations set up to get the program up and running again in a similar efficiency as Ambassadorship would be my goal for this term.
3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in?Currently I'm the Jarl of Foreign Affairs, which reaches out to other regions and also helps with making the tourist experience nice for those who visit the region. I've also had experience in areas of Culture including being a previous Jarl of Culture...which is an essential area in making members new and old feel comfortable while they're here. Outside of Wintreath, I've had experience offline in Team Leadership when I was attending University, which was basically the name of the squad of people who were responsible for helping integrate new students into the university lifestyle and making them feel comfortable/at home through icebreakers, planned events, and the like.
4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election in June?I literally have no offline life until the snow over here goes away, which I wouldn't foresee happening until late March/April, and even then I'd still find time even during my eventual move to a new place. Even at my busiest I always find time to squeeze Wintreath duties in there somewhere.
5) Are you currently a part of any other NationStates regional or organizational government? If so, please include those regions and positions.Ish. Currently I'm a Yogi in Karma, which is basically someone who helps the Prime Yogi in running Karma's legislative area, the Sangha. It's kinda like a more refined UH/OA type of a deal where anyone can jump in at any point through a specific process that they do, and it's an ongoing term as opposed to limited term. But it's also not a 24/7 position, so I have way more than enough wiggle room to be able to do other stuff and not get overloaded with any position on top of it.
