From your perspective, how has Wintreath changed over the time you've been here, both for the better and the worst?Hmm Wintreath has gradually shifted away from Nationstates (especially raiding/defending gameplay) to adopt this isolationist stance that I am quite satisfied with, besides inviting our dear friends from other regions for cultural events.
We used to have a very active roleplay scene, but it died out eventually. I would suspect it's due to the roleplayers in the region having distinct interests (some preferring sci-fi, some medieval, others fantasy etc) and difficulty in maintaining a core of players committed to a roleplay from start to end.
For other cultural sectors, Werewolf definitely rose to prominence and has become one of our signature pull, with Spyfall picking up momentum. Arena continues to maintain a loyal following.
In a more general sense, we did have quite a few rough patches, causing a few exodus to occur. That said, we are recovering, and slowly restoring the damaged trust and reputation as a safe haven, far away from the turbulence of real life. And I appreciate that, I have been here from adolescent to young adult
It's really hard to say whether the change that has occurred in the region is positive or negative in nature, people come and go whilst some stay, and those that stay and remain active constantly shape our regional personality and direction. What matters most is we remain an inclusive and friendly community, that those of us who stay cherish and enjoy interacting within.
What do you feel is the most pressing issue we face at the moment?Integrating our new members so they stay and become part of our core should be our priority. In the meantime, we still have quite a bit to do in finalising the new regional legislative open assembly.
