Happy birthday, Wikipedia!. At 20 years old, you're older than some of our members here.

Out of curiosity, what are your first memories of Wikipedia? For me, it was my computer classes in my first year of college...browsing through it while not listening to lectures, going from one link to the next. It was fascinating how no matter how many links you clicked, there always seemed to be another with some interesting topic. I think micronations was the first new thing I learned on Wikipedia.

I may be a bit more jaded to the wonders of an online encyclopedia these days, but I still regularly use Wikipedia for basic information about something...as most people do, I suppose.

Loved reading Wikipedia when I was a young kid. Spent so much time doing that; it was probably my favorite website back in elementary school.

I edit when I see problems, which sometimes drags me into unwanted conflict but everything has ended up well in the long run. Some of my favorite things I've done in recent years include fixing the article on wolf pack behavior to remove outdated and debunked alpha/beta/omega wolf information (in fact, wolf packs are just nuclear families with normal family behavior), getting a company account permabanned for editing out info about a legal dispute they're involved in, and getting gendered pronouns removed for a murder victim who started using they/them pronouns recently before their death.
