When would be the best time to enjoy Summersend for you?

Hey guys, I wanted to get your opinions on when the best time would be to have Summersend next month. Traditionally it's always been the third weekend in August (meaning it would be the 21st this year), but last year there were a lot of people who mentioned that it conflicted with their real-world schedules, especially with going back to school, and this year might be even more chaotic due to COVID, so I wanted to throw out some options and see what might work best for everyone!

Please note that technically the schedule runs through the end of the following weekend, but in practice it runs until all games and activities have ended..which at times has been several weeks afterwards.

I'm not voting because all three work equally well for me, and I don't want to skew the results against those who might actually have schedule conflicts.

I personally want it at the earliest because I'm getting so excited at my first Summersend and all the plans we/I have so I don't want to lose that momentum, and some of us will have to start preparing for school or work  by the end of August and I want everyone to be able to invest their time in the festival. 

I can agree, but I also prefer the extra time to prepare things.

Especially since we won't know the theme of Summersend until Saturday, that's going to have people working a bit to keep with the theme, which depending on the person and the activity (such as Werewolf, Spyfall, an RP, etc...), they may need the extra time to get everything fine tuned and/or revamped for the theme.  For example, if Winterland Carnival wins, I can easily just fine-tune what I have no problem with my CYOW game I want to bring in since the theme fits the game theme...but if something else like Fantasy Winterland or Festival of Houses wins, I'd want to make up a different game to go with the chosen theme.

So that extra week would help out a lot.  Honestly the last option would help the most, but going right into September might be iffy for people, so I'm okay with our traditional start date.

I chose 21th just because it's wrong

It looks like at this time there's about equal support for the 14th and 21st, but there's still some time to get a vote in if you haven't voted already.

I chose the earlier date so I could even out the vote
As well, I want to actually participate in it this year, and having an earlier Summersend will make me more motivated... and who doesn't want an earlier autumn?
