Clearly since it's July, I nominate Christmas

Seen as it's Canada day on the 1st, I nominate Canada

I nominate SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, because its been the center of news this past few months and it has accomplished what many viruses and diseases dream of.

I will nominate Abandoned Spaces, in honour of all the places that are empty and abandoned because of the virus.

I will nominate vacations because this month can be a good time for them.

Poll is up and will last for three days. Sorry about the late start, it is absolute chaos at my work, I will do better.

Couldn't find an abandoned structure I thought looked interesting, so I went with an abandoned tank instead to compensate.

For once, I'm actually participating in Avatar of the Month. Go me!

Echo Mountain. The summit is the site of a hotel/resort built in 1893, the hotel burned down in 1900 and the railroad that used to go up is now a hiking trail.

So basically it was a hotel for 7 years and a hiking destination for the next 120 years after that. I'm sure that's not how the people who built the hotel had it planned out, but it's funny how things work out anyways.
