Hey everyone, I'm really sorry, but I have to pull out of the game.

That's alright, Excalibur. Better that you realized you couldn't really participate now than later.

@taulover, as you expressed possible interest in the case we needed a certain player count, would you be interested in joining since we're halfway through the voting process of an 8-player map? If not, that's totally fine -- we can just switch to a vote for a 7-player map.

I'm likely to play a game of Diplomacy with RL friends very soon, so I must decline.

Original 7-player Diplomacy is best, anyway.

I’ve never used vDiplomacy before; once all players have joined, are we able to select which country we play as or is it automatically assigned to us?

It's randomly assigned at the start of the game. There was an option for choosing your countries, but it didn't totally seem fair as it'd be first come, first served (which would mean I'd get first choice).

@Batma n, you'll need to input some orders within the next 22 hours otherwise your units will go into civil disorder, meaning they'll do nothing but Hold and will be in danger of being disbanded if attacked.
