Welcome to my test run of small group RPs, searching indicators, and general randomness.
This roleplay will be set at Snowflake Level or above. Yes, I'm going to start rating roleplays so that people know what they're getting into and general word requirements.
So without further ado, here's what I'm proposing.
The CLS Minx is a standard military-issue exploration class ship belonging to the Conglomerate of Longren Space. It's mission is to explore the unknown universe and conduct diplomatic missions as needed by their government. (Read: Bully others and look for places to take over).
The ship itself is basically a town contained in a biosphere within the "body" and the command center in the front of the ship, or the "head". Verious departments have outposts along the body of the ship as needed, as four thrusters ar needed to move the ship, one on each wing and tail. It is designed for landing on planets, though it does have transporter capability.
The
Longren people are highly militaristic ans have taken over a bunch of random places simply because they could. All citizens of Longren space are afforded the same privileges as the Longren people themselves. As they are part of the Wintrean Federation, their ships often carry a mix of Federation personel and Longren Military. The relationship between the officers in unclear.
This takes place during the DSW era, but is not intended to follow any specific Star Trek series or plot, but to explore the Wintrean space universe a bit better. I'm looking for four people who are willing to be active at least once a week, preferably more, and are willing to post at least a paragraph at a time. I will be imposing this limit, as this is a test run to see if smaller RPs can work out.
You may play as many characters as you are comfortable with. I will be playing two of them, but I will not be claiming the role of captain. I'd rather focus on person to person dynamics and storylines than tell everyone where to go.
I will be playing an IM, as seen in DSW. There will be shenanigans, and there will be IM ships in this storyline at some point. I would like to explore the IM story arc, but if that is something that would bore everyone else we can certainty work out where we would like to go as a group. I will also be playing a Longren Navigational Officer.
