Like many of us, I am running for a seat in the 40th Underhusen
I served on the Underhusen from December to April and it was a great experience. Upon joining my first term, I had very little knowledge of Wintrean government, and this was also the time where the future of the Underhusen was very bleak, and my main campaign goals involved deciding the future of the Underhusen and attracting new members to our government and our region. In December, we barely had the amount of people running for Underhusen (only 5), and all of the people running got elected. Often times, not everyone was active and looked like Underhusen would really be unnecessary and should be burned down to the ground, to the favor of our beloved Doc.
Who could believe then that just a few months later, we would have 14 people and counting running for office! A mix between incumbents, old timers, and newcomers. Even if I do not win this term, I feel more proud that I was able to be a part of the Wintrean government that achieved this over the past few months.
Well, it seems that participation does not seem to be a problem now, because there has been a huge spike in the amount of people joining our region and discord and forum. This can be all thanks to our great Wintrean government, especially our WA Delegate and other Thanes, our Monarch, the Underhusen, and all other active citizens and government officials.
So now that I believe my initial goal has been successfully, I will talk about my other things.
I had previously advocated for the recreation of the Hvitt Riddaral (is that spelled correctly), and I did this in an attempt to increase citizen participation. If it is still necessary or still eagerly wanted, I will continue to advocate for this, but many new initiatives and programs (Roleplay, World Assembly and such) have been implemented, but if there is a loss of interest in it, I will not pursue it.
Like I also mentioned previously, I do not know the status of making clubs in Wintreath, so that can always be another thing to do.
Continue working and doing great in introducing and welcoming new members of our region and encouraging them to run for office or become an ambassador.
If I win a position in office, I will continue to actively participate in our Wintreath forum, Nation forum, and Discord, and hope we can continue to make Wintreath a welcoming and kind region.
