So again, in the interest of being able to put group(s) together, please give me your top 5s. A reminder about the systems people have knowledge/experience of spoilered below; and tagging everyone who's replied to this thread so you're all aware, as well as trader since we've Pathfindered before.
Systems People Know
Pathfinder (Fantasy) (me, Chanku, presumably Pightmark since 3.5 and Pathfinder are basically the same) (Uses pretty much every dice, but primarily d20s)
5e (High Fantasy) (me, Chanku, Aragonn, Excalibur, Ender) (Uses pretty much every dice, but primarily d20s)
Starfinder (Science Fantasy) (Silv) (Uses pretty much every dice, but primarily d20s)
Star Wars RPGs (Science Fantasy) (search your feelings, Star Wars in general is science fantasy) (Excalibur) (d6, 8, 10, 12)
FATE Core (Literally Anything) (Me, Pightmark) (D6s)
4e (High Fantasy) (Pightmark) (Uses pretty much every dice, but primarily d20s)
Blades in the Dark (Victorian Horror/Fantasy/"Dishonored as an RPG") (me, Pightmark) (uses d6s)

@Aragonn @Chanku @Laurentus @Ruguo @Hapi Ever After @Arenado @Excalibur @Ender @Emoticonius @traderAs a reminder: don't let unfamiliarity with a system (or
any systems if you're new to tabletop in general) disincentivize you from picking it, because I'm quite happy to teach people how pretty much any of the systems I've got corebooks for works (and if you're the type who wants to read, I have no qualms about uploading player handbooks or full rulebooks to Drive or something for people to make use of); no promises about other prospective G/DMs (quite a few people have offered themselves up, which is a pleasant surprise) but I assume most people are chill teaching New Players.
If you're
really not sure about any of these, I've also appended the
sui generis types of settings you might expect from a particular gameline; it won't
necessarily be a 1:1 correspondence (e.g. I ran a 'high fantasy' world for trader and Chanku that turned out to be an SFnal world that had experienced a societal collapse), but that's broad-strokes what you might expect. In the case where you really just don't want to commit to any particular systems, I'll settle for knowing the setting you want to play in and call it a day.
