  • Okay, so I futzed my way through to LordArgon's profile, and it says the last login was a full week ago, so, vote LordArgon for sneaky no-lynch lynch. Keep our active town alive!

  • ...and back I go to voting for Gallynukes.

Unless there's another someone set to be taken out by the inactivity lynch ready to go. I'm on mobile, so it's kind of hard for me to check, but has LordArgon been on at all the past few days?

Just remember that the idea to auto-lynch inactives has been scrapped given the general bad timing for hosting this game, and thus inactivity of such a large percentage of the player base.

Sorry, guys. I dropped the ball when I forgot about Thanksgiving. And since I don't study full time anymore, I forgot about finals week for those in university.

I've been rather forgetful about many things, really. I promise I'll try and do better.

I think I missed that, oops.

Well, lynching someone who has been inactive for days is still better than lynching someone who is active and playing, so I'm sticking with lynching LordArgon.

  • So a list of reads then:

    Strong town:
Melehan- makes a good case, seems pro town
Doc- Claimed town and have no reason to disagree
Gerrick- Also claimed town and watched me. Fair enough.

    Town:
Crush- gotta go with the gut
    Tau- clarifying everyone

    Null:
Deku- no strong feeling, hopefully later activity will show
    Hydra- Need more input
Aaragon- Could lean scum here, but it feels more like a town wagoner. So null
Mones- little info, seems to be trying to stay informed.

    Scum:
Gally- you attacker you. Fine, it doesn't make you scum, but it doesn't seem right to me

Others- No activity today/ I forgot about you.

I can get on board an inactive lynch for today until power roles can find new information.

    So, Vote LordArgon

The Watcher basically sees who performed any sort of action on said target. Like, if a Seer scanned the target, and a defender protected the target, and a Wolf tried to kill the target, then the Watcher would see the names of the people who performed these actions, but not know what actions they performed.

  • Finally got back to reading this thread. All I've got to say is wow. The implementation of power roles had absolutely nothing to do with my assessment of the public actions taken on day 1 because it wasn't possible for power roles to have been used in the first place. A trend was started, that being giving random players one vote each to let RNG decide which player gets lynched. North, for reasons completely incomprehensible to me, decided to place a second vote upon Crushita. And then Ruguo, in yet another incomprehensible action, leaped forth to place a vote on North and "save Crushita". North put himself in the spotlight, intentional or not, and wound up getting whacked as a result. That result doesn't surprise me. What makes me suspect is the method of how said result was achieved. A lone player decided to try playing vigilante by day. On day 1. First off, wolves are unknowns. You have nobody you can trust unless you're placed in a group PM by the game master. And day 1 does not give anything solid to base a judgement on. This can clearly be seen in the case with North. He decided to do something incredibly risky which didn't play out in his favor. And North was town aligned. How Ruguo has placed so much faith in Crushita so early in the game without Crush even really being online for it boggles my mind. The two have to be in cahoots, either as wolves or town aligned. Seeing as how the only bit of information a player won't ever share in public chat, no matter how pressured they are to share it, is that they're a wolf, probability says the two are wolves. Of course I could be wrong. But honestly, what other real information do we have to go on for day 2?

Apologies for the long and disorganized text block. I was essentially trying to type out my thought process as cohesively as possible at 3 in the morning.

TLDR: Trust nobody. If you hold back on making solid decisions for days on end simply because of what-ifs, you're giving the wolves all the time they need for a comfortable victory. Also explaining things after being awake for 20 hours is not my forte.

  • Marz has just acquired a spot on Mushi's Most Suspicious.

Currently the rankings stand, in order: Gallynukes, Aragonn, Marzipan, Wintermoot, Sapphiron.

Sapphiron I'm leaning more towards being confused town, but we'll see.

Wintermoot could have just been convinced by Gally's logic, but the lack of any response/indication of reconsideration later on makes me suspicious.

Marzipan went from abstaining to being the fourth vote on Ruguo when, as I pointed out, there's a completely inactive player we could lynch instead to keep the number of active players (and by extension TOWN) numbers up. Super suspicious, especially with how quiet she is.

For someone not voting to lynch Ruguo, Aragonn is working pretty hard to bolster Gally's arguments against Ruguo. That's a suspicious amount of cooperation for an undisputed lack of information, and voting to lynch yourself to deflect suspicion is totally something a wolf would do.

Do I need to say more about my suspicious of Gallynukes?

Mushi's Not So Suspicious list remains unchanged at this time.

As for Ruguo themself, I'm leaning towards town, however, I also can't help a sneaking suspicion that it could all be an elaborate bus with Gally and Aragonn taking down Ruguo to win the trust of the town.

Unless everyone who has yet to vote votes for LordArgon, I suppose we'll see tonight which side Ruguo falls on.

  • Having read N1's story post, I think it's safe to say that the N1 Jailkeeper is the one who successfully protected (and cleared) the targeted town.

But this also means the protected one was blocked. How this affects the info town has gained so far remains to be seen...

  • Also, in general I'm probably not gonna join any inactivity wagons unless it's active lurking (like, say, myself :P). If someone's about to die anyways, it feels like a waste, and honestly people who lurk simply have the basic chance to be scum, and there's rarely anything else to go off of. They'd die eventually anyway at the cruel hands of our glorious moderator (for ever shall he reign). Instead, we should focus on those who wouldn't die anyways with some semblance of facts or evidence behind voting them.
