Voting for the Underhusen elections are now open! You can vote for up to five candidates for Underhusen. You may also vote for fewer people by writing in "Abstain" on any slot you don't want to fill with a candidate. You may post your ballot in this topic, or PM it to me if you wish for your ballot to remain private. Ballots will be counted and the results will be given at the end of the elections one week from today. Good luck to all our candidates!

Electoral Shenanigans

In my usual desire to demonstrate the silliness of our systems, I will be publicizing the private ballot I could have otherwise just sent to Wintermoot to avoid the stigma against self-voting, and the very justifiable backlash against a refusal to vote for your opponents.

Is this the actual ballot I want to use? Not at all! Mostly because I actually want to vote for North at the very least. So I'll likely edit it after people have had time to look at it and think 'hmm, maybe we should require public voting for our putative representatives because this kind of shit might happen'. But leaving it as it is for now sends a very clear message about the kinds of things that may be happening behind closed doors.
