Hi! I know this is late, but here goes anyway.
I'm _zM. (Well, on this part of the internet, that is.) I'm a relative newcomer here, having only become a citizen about four months ago. (Coincidentally that was during the second-to-last UH election.)
Now why do I want to become part of the Underhusen?
I've been interested in the Wintrean government for a while now, since I joined, and wanted to get involved as well. (Maybe even more deeply, who knows.) At the moment I also have the ability to dedicate quite a bit of time to participation, meaning I believe I can be quite active during this period, discussing bills and voting. I have also created a database of all votes that have taken place in the Underhusen (which I will post relatively soon), and will continue to add to it regardless of whether I get elected.
Is there any change I'd like to see? Yes, and it's with regards to forum activity.
From what I can tell, there is a decent number of users who are quite active on the RMB, but haven't joined the forum or the Discord server, either because they do not know of its existence or because of some other barrier. At the same time, the forums aren't very lively and might benefit from some more fresh users.
I've seen similar dynamics in other places before and believe that it would help the cohesion and the activity of the region as a whole if the forums (and especially the government, as I've seen users confused about it) were more visible and better linked with Wintreath's presence on NationStates. Is this easy? Probably not. Is it possible in the Underhusen alone? No. But it's something I'd like to see discussed more.
And that's about all I can think of right now. If you have any questions,
