So it's baffled me as to why this doesn't exist yet.  Sure, there are many RPs out there where people will write their own bios for their different characters...but what about if you want the same character for multiple Wintreath-based RPs?  What about the random NPCs that you might find?

Name: Count Gabriel Sebastian Penguon
Occupation: Former Count of Cain
Age: 39 (Deceased)
Description: Gabriel was born to parents Alastor and Madeline Penguon in the city of Galdémere.  Living on the streets, his parents struggled to make ends meet, and eventually met their own end in a mugging.  Gabriel and his twin brother Oliver were still only babies at this point, and were fortunate to be discovered by a passing guard who took them into the station.

Both babies were fortunate enough to survive the harsh nature of the outside that day, but both were adopted by different families, Gabriel being adopted by the noble Penguon family and taken to the city of Cain.

Gabriel was raised in a place of splendor, his adopted father Francisco T. Penguon being the current Count of Cain much like his father before him, all the way up to when the first Penguon was chosen by the people.  He and mother Elizia raised Gabriel to be next in line after they passed, and taught him how to be a Count of the people.  Afraid that he would turn away from his duties otherwise, Francisco and Elizia decided to wait until Gabriel was 18 before telling him about his brother.

Unfortunately, Francisco and Elizia passed away when Gabriel was 16 (they were swept away in their boat while they were on a trip), as he inherited the Palais de Penguon and his adopted father's status.  Like Francisco in his youth, Gabriel had difficulty adjusting at first to the new role as he struggled on what he should do.  At 37 he commissioned the Palais to have both a live stage as well as a movie theater added to it, though he struggled to find ways to maintain such a cost as even the people of Cain were unhappy with this financial decision.  When he turned 38, he settled down a bit after both amenities were finished being built, turning the large Palais into a sort of tourist attraction and hotel, with the funds collected going back into the town itself.

He had also decided to take a more hands-on role with the people as he began publishing a set of articles, firstly being called the Lusty Jarl, and eventually settling on the name "Posh Penguin" after many were unpleased with the previous names.  Being a bit of a jokester in his years, he wanted something lighthearted to take people's minds off of the cold winter that was hitting the city.

However, his form of humor was not without repercussions.  When he was caught writing a joke article against the region's ruler on the 22nd day of the 2nd month of his 39th year, he was taken in by the guards and executed in front of an audience for his crimes.

Name: Oliver Tiberius Crowe
Occupation:Current Count of Cain
Age: 41 (Alive)

Oliver was raised in a place of beauty and wonder, living in moderately modest settings despite his father Maximallius being a general in the Hvitt Riddaral.  But despite having a military father, Oliver was raised by both his father and mother Vialania to make his own path in life, whatever that path ended up being.

He was always encouraged to play with the other kids in the outpost and make the most of his childhood, though despite their encouragement of his freedom of choice, they made the decision to keep his brother a secret.  But despite their intentions, Oliver felt as if something was missing from his life, though he couldn't figure out what it was.

At 25, Oliver had decided to follow in his father's footsteps and join the Hvitt Riddaral, much to the surprise of his already proud parents.  Though it wasn't where he truly wanted to be, it was something to make his parents happy as well as distract his mind for a bit.  When he turned 36, Oliver became a general just like his father, who proudly lived up to this point and passed away shortly after Oliver was promoted.

With his father's passing, Oliver double-downed on his military duties, all but forgetting the other pain that he felt as it only seemed to grow.

On 22nd day of the 2nd month of his 39th year, Oliver attempted to commit suicide after hitting his breaking point as the pain consumed him without warning.  He was stopped by his mother who then decided right there that it was time that it was time to tell him the truth: that he had a twin brother named Gabriel.

After learning the truth from his mother, Oliver left to discover more about his lost brother, only to find out that Gabriel was executed on the day that he attempted suicide for what was seen as a crime of defaming the region's ruler.

Making it to his brother's former place that he called home, a place called "Cain," he learned that his brother was the former Count (which the city now fought to find a replacement) as well as the writer of what was amusingly called the "Posh Penguin."

It was at that point that Oliver knew what he had to do.  He would take over his brother's duties out of respect, leaving behind the military for a different life.  Thankfully for him, he was successfully able to contest that he was the legitimate brother of the deceased Count, and was given both the office and publication without argument.

His first duty was to re-publish the article that his brother wrote (using the name Griffin Alexander), making only small changes to appease those that had landed him on the chopping block.  Thankfully, the article was seen in better light with the monarch, as Oliver became much more acclimated with his new duties...wishing only that he could have gotten to know the brother that he had lost while admiring the life that he could have once shared, had they been adopted together.

Now, Oliver continues watches over the people of Cain dutifully, doing what he can to honor his brother's memory (despite never getting the chance to meet him in person before his death).  His mother Vialania is still alive and resides in the Palais de Penguon with him.

Name: Beiyu Tyr Eske
Occupation: Student
Age: 25
Description: The nature of Beiyu's relation to The Noble House of Eske and the Earl themself is heavily disputed in high society (albeit the rumors are quiet, as those sharing them generally do not relish the idea of offending the Earl). Despite these whispers, Beiyu is rather spirited and finds himself quite comfortable rubbing elbows with these so-called elites. Mild in manner, quick in wit, and with a certain dignity certain people believe he has not earned, he is at ease shifting conversation (and attention) in his favor. Some may say this makes him a narcissist but he would say that he is merely exercising self-love and respect. He never feels out of place because to him this is simply par for the course- why fear talk and scandal when there is wine and fun to be had?

Questions of his lineage and lack of title have left him exactly where he wants to be - unusually free of responsibility and expectation. This affords him many of his pleasures. Time for his studies in the arts, medicine, and history. Time for his animals. Time for his favorite -tions: libation, titillation, and celebration. And time, of course, for his weekly game nights, a delight for he and others who enjoy similar pleasures.

Despite his more free-spirited desires and hedonistic tendencies he is dutiful to his family and would lay it all on the line for the Earl, who he is grateful to for their continued support in his pursuits.
