As some of you know,
Before I decided to go into inactivity and play Space Station, I drew up some plans to launch some sort of region based newspaper poised to spread to other regions later on.

Well, I didn't quite decide where I am to launch it given my most recent regional move, but I decided that I can give it a shot here.

I will be basing the paper here at some point, as soon as I get some staff.
I will be hiring from Wintreath and some of my old CoC friends ONLY for the time being.

This seems somewhat similar to the Wintreath Information Office that Wintry's announced earlier this week at the Bulletin Board, as seen here: http://wintreath.com/forums/index.php?topic=587.0. I wonder if both ideas could be worked into one...

If a merger is possible, I wouldn't really mind, but I still need a degree of independence in terms of news the Information Office does not cover.

Many regions have private papers that aren't affiliated with the government. It's just not something I've focused on encouraging because we had a mechanism for people to do private papers in Spiritus and nobody really consistently did one. It just ended up being an inactive forum that wasted space that I wished we could get rid of.
