Chanku for Underhusen!
So I'm running for Underhusen (as usual), and as such I much present myself to you, the voters, to explain why I should have you vote for me. So I'll explain why you should vote for me in two words: Experience and Judicial Reform.
ExperienceI have the most experience of anyone running in the Underhusen, I served in the first Underhusen among many others, I helped write many of the laws, the Fundamental Laws, and more. According to Katie I have directly written 73 Pieces of Legislation, albeit only 25 has passed. This is more than anyone else in Wintreath, as I've written at least around 30% of the laws passed in Wintreath. For reference, the next person who has the most written legislation is Dawsinian at 18. The person with the most successfully passed legislation would be a tie between Katie/Dawsinian at 7 laws each.
I have, additionally, influenced, gave feedback on, or was mentioned in, many other laws. I have been asked for legal advice by the Monarch/Cabinet and by past sessions of the Underhusen and Overhusen relating to other laws, legislation, and actions. I have served as Speaker many times, and I was once Prince of Wintreath. I was also the Chairperson of the Overhusen for one session prior to the eternal Chairship of Wuufu.
Judicial ReformI am still pushing for Judicial Reform, unfortunately this has taken a lot longer than anticipated as I want to make sure that the reform of our Judicial system works. I want to make sure the layout is right, that things are organized right, and that I spin the right legal fiction for certain parts of it that it works. I wanted to try to introduce at least part of this during this last session, but I held off due to the inactivity of it. I aim to at least bring the first part of the reform to the Underhusen floor this session, which will be a Fundamental Laws Amendment, this amendment would aim to create 'Special Panels' to reduce the impact of an Underhusen that has become 'rogue' from being able to shelter itself. It also allows for the integrity of Judicial Panels to be upheld when there may not be enough members of the Storting unaffiliated to be a part of a Judicial Panel.
So now you are probably asking, what else will I do? Well I aim to finish up what I intended to do this session, and I will run for Speaker this next session to finish that up, which includes a final Procedural Rules amendment. I don't intend to stay as Speaker the entire session.
In any case, this is why you should vote for Chanku: I have experience and I am working for Judicial Reform to make our region better.
