If you're suspicious of someone and it's your turn, you can ask any player a question, even if they were just previously asked one.  It's a good way to make a potential spy slip up if they're specifically targeted.

Damn I really should've just gone with my gut and googled "TV show set in heaven."

You would have pretty much gotten it, as there's not really a whole many that involve literal Heaven.  I think the only ones I've seen that actually do are this show, Supernatural (Season 4 and beyond), Charmed, and the upcoming Good Omens.

Yeah, I tried googling it just now and it worked.

Either way, it was a fun game to watch.  I was wondering if the spies were going to have trouble since 3/5 of the roles had the tendency to be incredibly unhelpful.  But that was part of the point...to make it torture for the 4 spies.

It was quite a fun game. Honestly I googled it earlier, saw the result, watched the entire first season because the Google result made it sound interesting, and yet I still wasn't sure until the architect line. And the Gerrick got to it first. Well played, everyone.

This one was tough for me cause I'd never even heard of the show until this game. I did the best that I could with Google and wikis.

Haha, yeah it was definitely apparent that at least most of the players here have never seen the show.  But it is definitely one I recommend giving a shot if you're able to, since it is on Netflix as well as Hulu I believe.

Wow, 4 spies? I only had Ruguo pegged as another spy because of the "Only the most popular show around!" answer to the "What show are you watching?" question because that'd mean the show is based on a show, which didn't seem to line up with anybody else's answers (. I just figured taulover was a newly dead person with his answers. And North totally had me fooled with his commitment to a character, especially saying he'd be here "forever".

At first I thought it was the Simpsons or South Park, especially with Red Mones' crude character. But after Kane mentioned Hell and a city; Wintermoot mentioned frozen yogurt and justice; Hydra acted incredibly happy to be there; and Excalibur's suit-wearing, immortal "architect" who mentioned "retirement"; I was able to piece it all together.

Edit: I figured out @Excalibur as Michael and @A self deprecating Kane as Janet (the "can't talk about hell" line gave it away immediately), though I incorrectly assumed @Wintermoot was The Judge.

I mean, Shawn does pose as the judge in Season 1, so you were partly right...but no, he wasn't Gen (short for Hydrogen, the only thing that existed during their creation).

Good game everyone.  Thanks for hosting it Pengu.  I never had a clue who the spy was so well played.  I had at least seen some episodes of the first and one of the later seasons but not much of the show.  I do agree that the show is great I just haven't kept up with it.  That would definitely have helped along with not having to prepare for a cruise during the game.(The cruise was nice)  If I had seen some more uestions and answers then I might have figured out some of the roles.  My first guesses were dead wrong though since my first guess of one of the spies was Red Mones since I was thinking the rudeness was a cover up for a lack of knowledge.
