I mean, yes, the environment is one of the most important issues, but I'm not going to vote for someone without knowing the rest of their platform. And I wouldn't say he's the only one placing an emphasis on it -- Bernie Sanders has stated nearly every time he speaks that climate change is one of the the most pressing issues facing the US. Jay Inslee just places it at the forefront rather than among other important issues.

Beto O'Rourke and Pete Buttigieg are the top two contenders, to me. I really like Pete but I think Beto may have a better chance of winning the primary. I think they're both great though, and inspiring.

Also, I am not a fan of Elizabeth Warren at all. Or Bernie, anymore. I voted for him in the primaries in 2016, but I don't know... I'm starting to get annoyed with all of his diehard Bernie bros.

But the Bernie Bro stereotype is turning out to no longer be a thing. According to a recent CNN poll, women across the political spectrum have a more favorable view of Bernie than men do -- women: 53% fav/34% unfav; men: 39% fav/51% unfav. And among Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents, women view Bernie about as favorably as men -- women: 72%/14%; men: 77%/15%. In fact, more women voted for Sanders in the poll than men. And according to the poll, the only candidate that has more support from women is Joe Biden (but I suspect that shortly after he starts campaigning his support will decline).

Also, former Senator Mike Gravel of Alaska has announced his candidacy. His campaign is unique, however, as he does not seek the presidency (he's 88 years old) but instead only seeks to make it to the debates. In this he aims to bring stark anti-war and other progressive ideals to the debate stages and to hold the other candidates accountable. (Since he's not really running for president, I haven't included him in the OP.)
