Here you may register your character.

I considered making this part of the thread where you show your allegiance to a house, but decided against it so new people can first join the RP, then decide who they will pledge themselves to, if at all.

The rules are simple, please post your character name, their age, gender, and major skills, i.e. sailor, lawyer, politician, merchant etc. There is no limit here. Go mad.

@Wintermoot, I know you don't do RPs, but would you be interested in doing the opening post for this one? You'd outline your characters thoughts on the state of the region before his death, his opinion of the major noble houses, and his fears over the threat of a looming invasion by House Telcontar, before he dies.

Of course, the big plot twist here would be if you decide to actually take part in the RP. Which would be grand.

Yeah, your character's death is the only way I can see this working, if you don't take part.

Basically, this RP is set in the 1500s, and there is a civil war and invasion about to take place. The last Kestar would need to die without any heirs to make this setting possible.

So if I create a character, could I be a part of the Valerians?

Yup. Your character's surname will always be Valeria, but you can give him any other names you wish.

Ok, first application! Here goes:
Name: Suzetta Kaizer
Gender:Female
Age: 27
Major Skills: Cryptography, Sculpting, Swordfighting.
Weaker Skills: Painting, Mathematics (both byproducts if her major talents)
General Info: Suzetta, a member of the Kaizer house, is a practical scholar. She was brought up as a middle class lady, expected to bring up the children and cook for her husband. Instead, she read notes from the local university and art collage to hone her natural sculpting talent. She is famous locally, but she has secretly amassed a small library on cryptography, working on breaking the vignere cipher. She is unmarried, and plans to stay this way.
OOC: I have assumed a sort if european style, rennacience theme to my character. If the RP is more eastern or british, I can change Suzetta accordingly.

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Major skills: Stealth, Assassination, General weapon proficiency, Archery(primarily with small hand crossbow, whose bolts have a fast-acting toxin that causes a heart attack on their points), Toxins, Alchemy.
Bio: He was never taught much, besides weapons training, so he taught himself.  He didn't know his parents; he was kidnapped from his parent's home when he was still a toddler.  At the age of 16 he escaped his kidnappers.  He has been looking for revenge against the people who kidnapped him, using what they taught him to his advantage.  He has rarely gotten close enough to anyone to consider them a friend.  However, he is not well versed in politics and worldly facts.  Sae'taer often is never seen, nor are his assassinations discovered until the next day.  He rejects any jobs that are against innocent people, but will brutally mutilate those that take joy from killing and the pain of others.  His soul is black, but his blood is blue.  he has a weakness for small, fluffy animals.

I don't know, I could think of some heirs I could name that would stir up some conflict.

Come to think of it, considering Chanku's past as a prince, the Kaizers could be a cadet branch of the Kestars...

Kind of like the Baratheons or House Blackfyre from GoT?
