I think we can start once everyone has registered a character, shown their allegiance to a faction, picked a spot on the map etc. I'll be putting up the map later today.

By the way @taulover or @Gerrick, do you perhaps know where the updated maps are?

I think that would be a good OOC reason. And IC, I think they'd make easy allies considering they're both native Wintrean houses, while Valeria originated from foreign lands, and since Kaizer is a very old Wintrean house, they may prefer another native house. But also, Burdock could promise Kaizer positions of power should they swear allegiance. And to top it off, the Arnocen Academy and Janth are relatively close in proximity on the map, so it'd make sense that they'd likely have ties and so may be within the same sphere of influence.

Nice nice.  Once we get the map I can probably do a detailed character too, because I'm thinking of going for some sort of Dutch East India Company type of magnate.  Everyone else already took the other calibres of ruthless and evil.  I've been given no choice of being a horrible person other than to exploit the multitudes and ferry nutmeg back to Wintreath...

I was looking to also take the mantle of the Valeria shipping industry, much as I have in the past.

Tea was the biggest drug trade of that era, with probably opium coming in distant second.
