(And this is why my post guess is 10,000. It's stupid, but if there are more than 3,601 posts then I win by default!)

Umm... Is that how it reads? "The guess closest to the actual number without going over." I intended it to mean the guess closest to the actual number with the guess not going over the actual number, meaning your guess needs to be less than the actual number. I used similar wording to last year's contest but tried to make it more clear since I also thought it was a little confusing -- suppose I should've worded it differently.

Did anyone else read it the way Elbbsas did?

Okay, this is weird. Even with the clarification my head isn't comprehending. So, I read it as [Actual < Guess], and it's actually [Guess < Actual]?
Man, my brain's a dummy. This is why I don't touch maths and numbers even with a ten foot pole, I'm so awful at numbers. XD

Disclaimer:  it was more maniacal than intended.  I thought that I was just screwing over half of Sapph's guess (ie I wanted to make sure that I had the range 3401-3500 as the "I win" guess range once it reopened, so I went there rather than 3500, which I (incorrectly) though would give me the range 3450-3550.
