As the title says, the icon no longer changes to the orangeish mail image for me when there are new notifications.

Tested on Chrome and Safari, including with Ctrl+F5.

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this.

Interesting, for me this issue didn't pop up until very recently.

There was the unrelated issue of the notification sound not showing up, but from what I am aware of this is due to browsers such as Chrome blocking the sound from playing.

Should be fixed.

It's kind of difficult to see, are you sure you're not just missing it?

You're right. It is there, just invisible.

For me I actually prefer it the way it is, it's still visible but also quite unobtrusive.

Everyone's monitor is different. For me it's not visible at all, even now I know it's there.

Unobtrusive is fine, though.
