Are you ready for 6 nights of fun, love, and heartbreak?


Hi I am a Drop Bear named Sinister Dropping and I will be hosting this.  Participants will get to try to date each other by sending messages in specific PM channels I will set up.  All of you are going to be monsters, legends, tall tales, or even just horror movie characters.  Only you will know what you are since the roles will be randomly and privately assigned.  The PMs that you send will not be revealed (just in case they end up getting NSFW).  This is a dating game which will last 6 nights after signups are over and roles are assigned.  Some of these will be beach nights which may affect the abilities of different monsters that are there.  All of you monsters have abilities that will affect your dates.  The end goal will be to have the most hearts at the end.  The players will want to PM me or the ghost @Red Mones their choice of who they want to date.
The dating process works like this: A says they want to date C, C says they want to date A, B says they want to date D, etc.  If both players wanted to date each other than they will date that night.  Otherwise the one who wanted to date is rejected by the other player who didn't want to date that player.  Starting on Night 2 at the end of every night the player who has the lead in terms of the most hearts or one of the players at the top will have their monster powers revealed.  Once the dates are done on the last night, the after party begins where all of the final heart totals are determined and the unrevealed monsters revealed with all of the corresponding effects being applied.  Then the winner(s) will be announced.

Don't feel like you are doomed if you do not get many dates, your monster ability could still allow you to win even if you don't end up in first place.

Yes this is based off of the Jackbox game Monster Seeking Monster.  There are differences compared to that game though.  Cosmetic and also some gameplay differences.

I've never participated in one of these before. But you know, hey, why not? Sign me up!

Signups are now closed.  Night 1 will begin in an hour.

The way this game works is that all of you monsters will start messaging each other and then eventually you will be told to choose who you want to date.  There is a catch though, you can only send 4 messages each night to other players.  You can send messages to me if you are confused and you can message me or Red Mones your date choice.  In order to make sure you stick to that limit make sure you link me when you send a message to one of the other players.  Eventually I will order an end to the messaging and then it will be time to select your date.  If you do not select a date you will be penalized by losing a heart.  The end goal will be to have the most hearts.  Positioning looks can be deceiving though since the abilities of you monsters could cause the 3rd place player to actually be in 1rst or a tie for 2nd between what looks like the 4th and 5th place players.  Each night starting with Night 2, the highest unrevealed player will have their monster ability revealed.  This could be very detrimental to your success or it could be a benefit or it might not have much of an effect.  Either way keep that in mind when you are dating and messaging players.  There will also be 3 beach nights which will have an effect on some of you and won't affect others.

You will all be receiving PMs before the game begins detailing what monster you are and the abilities that your monster has.

You all can send your 4 messages until 2 am PST.  After that time you will need to select your date.  You will have until noon PST to PM Red Mones or myself your date.  If you all are done by that time I will end the night early.

Did you have a date for Night 1?  If you didn't pick a date then you will lose a heart.

At the moment.  After reading through the messages:  Gerrick and Fiji dated so they got a heart.

North, Syraj, Robin did not date anyone unless I am mistaken and so they lost a heart.
