ROUND 2

Med Rones, the Assassin, slipped two throwing knives from inside his jacket. With one knife in each hand, he launched them at Gellert and Spudicus. The first knife landed in Gellert's thigh, dealing 2 damage. Spudicus saw the second one coming, though, and tried to dodge the throw, but it lodged in his bicep, dealing 4 damage.

Vezos Drysor, the Nightblade, snuck up behind Ceven and lunged with his sword. Ceven quickly turned around, but the blade pierced his side, dealing 12 damage.

Thief Nobodyson, the Grave Robber, reached into his pouch, pulled out a handful of Caltrops, then threw them out onto the battlefield.

Ceven Greenfinger, the Shaman, looked around at his enemies and began to chant an incantation. The wind started to pick up in the Arena. Those in defensive stances sensed something bad was happening, so they dove behind stone columns while the rest of the combatants stood in confusion. They all began to let out shouts and groans as parts of their souls were torn from the bodies, dealing the following damage: Med 2, Vezos 5, Thief 1, Hydracula 0, Spudicus 0, Gellert 3, Mysterio 0, Skeleton 5, Sable 2. Wisps of glowing wind flew into Ceven's chest, healing him 9 HP.

Hydracula stood up, ran towards Ceven, then swung his sword, cutting his chest and dealing 12 damage.

Spudicus the Heretic began his attack but stepped on a Caltrop, dealing him 6 damage. He winced then continued with his attack on Thief. He brought his sword down, but Nobodyson met his blade. The two pushed their swords into each other until Thief's sword slipped and Spudicus' sliced into his enemy's ribs, dealing 12 damage.

Gellert Grindelwald jogged to a defensible position but also stepped on a Caltrop, dealing him 2 damange. The Sorcerer then held out his hands in front of him, palms up. He clenched his fists then slowly opened them as they were engulfed in flames. He then wiped his hands on the rest of his body as the fire spread in a Flame Cloak.

Spudicus' Skeleton raised its sword and ran at Nobodyson, but he easily deflected the attack.

Sable Eyris took her turn and attacked Spudicus. He didn't see her coming until it was too late -- she stabbed her sword through his gut, dealing 20 damage.

Mysterio this time did not act. One audience member took a rock and threw it at the Conjurer, hitting him on the back of the head, which dealt 1 damage. The audience burst out into laughter.

ROUND 3

Spudicus got into a defensive stance and pulled out a small, old black book. He quickly swiped through the pages until he found what he was looking for. Following the words with his fingers, he spoke the spell aloud for all to hear, letting them know a Death Nova would be cast should he die soon.

Hydracula eyed the nearly dead Thief Nobodyson and attacked, lunging with his sword, but his target dodged out of its way.

Sable reached back into her pouch and pulled out what looked to be a dead, festering animal. She then began to coat her hands in its rotting innards. Some in the audience groaned in disgust, while others laughed. The Witch Doctor then walked up to Med Rones, who was unsure of what was going to happen, and pounced on him, wiping her viscera-covered hands on his face and arms. He yelled out and tried to push her off, but she had a determined, maniacal twinkle in her eye. After spreading the blood and pus across his skin, she was now satisfied with her work, so she chuckled and ran away. Med immediately rolled over and vomited on the ground. Small pustules began to form on his face and arms as he was Afflicted by the Plague, dealing him 4 damage.

Spudicus' Skeleton was ordered to attack Ceven, and so it did, cutting his forearm for 2 damage.

Med Rones stood in anger and tried to wipe away the blisters on his skin, but it was to no avail. He took his anger out on Vezos, slicing deeply into his chest for 17 damage. From the wound, more of the same pus-filled sores began to spread across Vezos' body, Afflicting him with the Plague and dealing 2 damage.

Mysterio aimed to take down Thief, but once again the Grave Robber dodged and deflected the attack. Some in the audience cheered while others yelled in anger.

Thief Nobodyson, worried more about defending his life than the now-spreading Plague, attacked Vezos, hoping to finish him off. He sprinted over to his target then plunged his sword deep in his torso. Vezos coughed up blood onto Nobodyson's face, laughed, then fell back and died. The Plague spread to Nobodyson, dealing him 1 damage.

Ceven slowly waved his arms around in front of him and spoke as if talking to someone. A faint haze appeared, floated its way to Hydracula, then disappeared. The Vampire's stomach turned over, feeling as if he were Hexed and something bad was going to happen very soon.

Gellert again did not act. The audience began to shout in irritation until a man stood up with a long blowgun and shot a dart across the Arena and into the Sorcerer's neck, dealing 4 damage. The entire audience jumped up onto their feet and yelled in celebration.

"And with the end of that round is our first death!" the Host announced. "Goodbye to Vezos Drysor, the Nightblade. But I'm sure we'll have another one or two combatants joining you in the next round!"

on review, should Nobodyson be listed as Afflicted?

He would as the Affliction lasts until your next turn, but since he's the first to move, it would go away before anyone had the chance to attack him, so I felt no reason to add it to the results.

ROUND 4

Thief Nobodyson got back into a defensive stance and whipped out another bear trap from his belt. He quickly set it up and tossed it onto the battlefield.

Sable Eyris pulled out another locust from her pouch and whispered to it. A Swarm of Locusts suddenly poured out into the air and attacked the other fighters, dealing Thief 0, Mysterio 4, Ceven 4, Med 7, Hydracula 5, Gellert 1, Spudicus 0, and Spudicus' Skeleton 6 damage. The Skeleton was easily overwhelmed by the locusts and fell into a pile of bones. Ceven Greenfinger yelled out and swatted as the locusts tightly swarmed around him, biting and scratching even as he fell over. As they dispersed, Ceven's lifeless body was found still lying on the ground.

Mysterio got into a defensive stance and made the familiar circle and symbol, summoning a Lich. The creature climbed up out of the ground and looked to Mysterio for orders. He wasn't exactly sure if this were the same Lich as before or an entirely new one, but he pointed to Thief Nobodyson all the same. The Lich cast a spell to shoot two blue fireballs at the target. The Grave Robber dodged the first, but the second hit him right in the chest, causing the flames to spread over the whole front of his body. He tried to pat the fire out, but it was no use. He screamed in pain then passed out onto his back. The flames continued to spread and burn until his body was completely black and ashen.

Med Rones got into a defensive stance and backed up a couple steps. Just then, a loud crack filled the air as he looked down and saw the bear trap closed around his leg, dealing him 6 damage. He grimaced in pain as he attempted to pull the trap open and free himself.

Hydracula got into a defensive stance then approached Mysterio, who narrowed his eyes in suspicion and gripped his sword tightly. Hydracula met his gaze and held his arms out as if he were not a danger. Mysterio then slowly loosened his grip and opened his eyes. He nodded to the Vampire, who nodded back, satisfied with the successful Seduction. Out of nowhere, Hydracula sharply shouted and keeled over, feeling as if he had been stabbed in the heart. He then realized that this was the trouble he was expecting last round. The Shaman's Hex had taken effect, dealing 11 damage.

Gellert Grindelwald had been preparing an attack with electricity crackling in his hands, but his target, Thief Nobodyson, already lay dead, burnt to a crisp. He growled in frustration at someone stealing his kill.

Spudicus the Heretic readied his sword then ran towards Mysterio. Just as he swung his sword, the Lich dove in front of his master, taking the brunt of the hit and giving the Conjurer the split second to jump out of the way of the attack.

All I can say is... gosh does a Warlock's initiative suck.  Clearly not a Jedi knight XD

I didn't notice you've been in the bottom few all game.
I suppose sorcerers, like wizards, are never late nor are they early but arrive precisely when they mean to.
