    Can you believe that summer is almost over? Before you know it, the days will start to get shorter and the air will start to feel a little cooler. Each year, we welcome these changes and give summer a good sendoff by having a festival of fun activities and events, the Summersend Festival!

    This will be the fourth annual festival, which will run from August 17th to 26th, and for the first time ever we've adopted a theme for this year's festival: Spooky Summer! We have a lot of stuff planned that I think you'll have fun with, so I hope you're able to make some time to check out the festival and have some fun with us!

    And if you'd like to contribute to the festival by running a booth, event, or activity, just post here! Any help is appreciated, because it's part of what makes Summersend such a fantastic community event. :)

    Wonderful news! Almonaster Nuevo over in Canada reworked the graphic we sent out in last night's dispatch to something much, much better. Thanks to them, we have a great theme graphic for the festival! :D
