Cue a horrifically uncreative topic title.

Hello y'all! I'm Katie. I'm new to Wintreath but not to NS. I joined this region about a month ago and almost instantly started reading the constitution and laws and stuff, and took lots of notes. That being said, I still don't have it all memorized and I haven't worked out all the nuances, but I'm certain that will be very easy.

On other campaigns I spotted some concerns about being a newblood and not being familiar enough with the laws and not having a specific goal for the Underhusen, so on, so forth. The fact of the matter is that a) I doubt in any legislature most people go in with a specific goal in mind. I certainly haven't in the past, and b) I already addressed the legal familiarity thing, so yay!

I don't particularly think that this is the kind of place to make the region "kinder", mostly because it's pretty kind already and you can just do that by being a regular citizen. I'm here to get down and dirty with legal and legislative procedure, since that's my passion. I do want to see Wintreath succeed, since it has given me a place where I feel welcome, so if y'all have questions for me, be sure to ask them below!

Anyways, I'm great at talking the talk, but only when I'm comfortable with my audience, and I'm poking in the dark here. Thus this campaign was written horribly, so there you have it! Vote for me next week (or maybe two weeks from now) y'all!

Other than some consolidation of certain laws (such as Decree 010) into the Fundamental Laws, and some wording changes to the Underhusen Elections Clarification Act, I can't remember anything that stood out to me as something that needed changing. I'll look over it again, and if any new ideas come to mind I'll certainly bring them up.

Could you elaborate on both of these ideas?

In particular, the WA Delegate is a rather unimportant position in a UCR, especially with regional officers, an active founder, and a non-executive Delegacy. I'm not sure why we'd need to treat it as anything more than an internal Monarchy/Riksrad matter, as we always have.

That's a good point. I'm transitioning from a GCR scene, so it felt natural for me. Thanks for pointing that out.

Also, the Underhusen Elections Clarification upon closer inspection, doesn't seem to need changes either. I must have read it incorrectly the first time.
