For singular plots with a single story, forum works great. It gets convoluted when there’s two or three, and that’s when a multi channel system like discord becomes very appealing.

Hmm... in your opinion, how does multiple channels on Discord compare to having a forum RP with multiple threads and/or subforums?

1) Yes, we need New RP's unfortunately, as much as it pains me, the current round have not seen much in the way of activity for a long time. We need to try and breathe new life into the RP by getting new RP's people can get into again. And we could also make more short-term RP's that have a short life span but are easy to make and run and replace when finished to keep people invested in the RP.

2)My re-imagined RP council would have the responsibility to keep activity up with the ability to enact policy to ensure this. They would have the responsibility to settle disputes in the RP (they currently have that respnsibility for the incredibly rare time it is an issue.), to create new RP's (again, the members of the current council can do this.) The most major change I would consider is making the RP council head submit a report to either the Monarch or the UH, perhaps both, about the state of the RP. If the repsonsibility of maintining the RP falls on the council and they have to report on how they are doing this I think that the council will take a more active role in keeping RP's alive.

3) Forgive me, I should have been clearer. My point is that having the forum games, one of the most active parts of the site, in the RP guild, would draw people who may also be interested in RP's to the RP guild. When they come to play Spyfall or werewolf or whatever comes next, they will go through the RP guild and may see an RP they like.

Well a way to revive perhaps one rpm for diplomacy and one for military
We could invite people say that its a way to join the more active part of the community and lets discussion of politics happen but with management as it can get people angry I have had some unpleasant discussions on politics myself but it could be fun just with some good rules and tell people ideas on how to role play then people could get interested

Do you mean RP like on NS itself, where people pretend to be statesmen?
