Over the years we've developed three ways of keeping track of what's going on here in the forum...what way do you use?

I use recent and the home page but there is no all of the above option so I am specifying my other vote.

Other - I have the "unread topics" page bookmarked. While the recent topics page is handy it had a tendency to get confused every time my internet cut out. That problem's fixed now, but I've gotten into the habit of unread topics.

I basically only use the front page.

On mobile I use the desktop site.

For me personally, I almost exclusively use the recent topics page...it's easy to see what topics have been active since the last time I checked, and it's easy to skip over topics that I don't really care about like spam games. Sometimes I'll go to the front page and read topics forum by forum if I haven't been around in a few days, but that's kinda rare.

I'm a news feed minority. I guess I switch back and forth between the news feed and the front page, but my default is the generic wintreath.com feed. I actually used to have the RSS feed streaming from a school-issued computer back in high school, too.

Huh, I didn't even know we had a RSS feed until just now!

Scroll down to the bottom of any forum page and an RSS link feed will appear. (I'm not sure if I found it that way, though. I think I might've just downloaded an RSS reader extension and then went onto the Wintreath page and the extension pulled the site automatically.) It might just be a Simple Machines board feature.

Yeah, it's a SMF feature, just one I've never needed, used, or noticed before now.
