The time has come to discuss the Delegacy of the region. The Delegate is the person with the most endorsements in the region, who has the responsibility of bringing topics that are up for a vote to the community for discussion and a vote. The Delegate will not have Executive powers (banject, eject, etc etc) since we may be a target for a raid until we have enough endorsements to prevent that.

Anyone care to volunteer for this prestigious position?

I highly doubt raiders would target a small, active, foundered region like ours, but whatever. I think it may be best for maybe a new player to step in here, as it could be a really good way of gaining government experience.

You never know...we had discussions about raids on Spiritus even when the Delegate had 130 endorsements. It wouldn't be a far stretch to imagine a raid on a small, defender-tagged region, especially if Executive controls were on and they could purge some nations before I became aware of it.

I suggest an elected Delegacy, under the Europeian model. I'm trying to force it on Spiritus too, but I think it'll work well here.

Appointed, and with a whiff of the NPO about it, I'd imagine.

Well, I'd vote the way the citizens wanted me to vote. Always open to suggestions though.

I'd also be willing to volunteer for delegacy. I'll admit I've never been a delegate before, but I do get the gist of how it works. I'd imagine it'd be easier to handle still without having to exercise micro-managing executive  power. My main goal would be to further the goals of the region in the World Assembly, seeing as the delegates wield extra voting power.

If you want someone more experienced to handle it, though, that's fine by me. Just putting myself out there. 

Idk whats involved but if im told what my duties are i guess id give it a shot anything to be more involved. If you need a resume of stuff. I was an officer in 3 different alliances in a game called Star Fleet commander and I run my own alliance in SFC-Conquest. ^_^
