1) Why are you running for this position?
Mostly to have it be an actual race. The side benefit is that I get to annoy Pengu. Fuck you, dad.
In all seriousness, this is the game that brought me to Wintreath, and it remains my favourite. If I can shape its growth in anyway, I'd be happy.
2) What do you aim to accomplish as thane?
Werewolf used to be Wintreath's big event. I'm not sure when or how that changed, but I want to restore it. I don't know if it can be done in the same way as RP, but I want to investigate it. If all I end up doing is ensuring that at least two games take place - with enough people to make it as much fun as I remember - that would be more than enough for me.
My grand ambition is to make it as much of an interregional event as it can possibly be, though, since that, in my opinion, is Wintreath's greatest recruitment method.
3) What qualifications or experience do you have in the area that you are running in?
Far less than Pengu. I was the first person other than him to host a Werewolf game, and have the dubious honour of hosting the largest game ever, before my co-host and I both fell inactive and it became a broken mess.
4) How do you plan to have the time to fulfill the duties of the position until the next election in March?
This is my biggest constraint. I suppose that if I do things properly, I won't need to actually host every game in my tenure. I'll just need to draw community interest to the game, and let the community make it great on its own, similar to what my intent was behind the RP Guild, and RP in general.
