Before I begin, I would like to share this video:
Now that I have your attention, let me thank you for taking the time to stop by this thread, and welcome you for some coffee, and perhaps some cookies? Oh, don't mind that you're holding a cup or napkin that says "Vote Pengu" on it, it's just for show really. Oh, you've got some cookie crumbs on your mouth, let me wipe those off. *wipes them off with a "Vote Pengu" napkin and displays it prominently to the camera* There we go.
*Clears throat and motions for the camera to focus on him*
As a three time Overhusen Chairman and former Jarl of Culture, I know what it's like doing things for the people. Between proposing or voting on laws that affect citizens, hosting games that bring people together through fear and paranoia, and being a voice those who feel as if they have none...it can be difficult sometimes, but worth it in the end.
*starts walking as the camera follows*
Many of you here know me, some have known me since I'm joined. Even when the odds seem against, I always stand proud and ready to speak my mind and go the direction I believe will keep Wintreath on the path to progression and peace. I may have my disagreements from time to time with people...but I speak those disagreements plainly, politely, and in ways to try to understand their side while getting them to see mine. It's easy to be uncivil, rude, and barbaric to others when you feel you're not understood...but it's more worthwhile to be tactile, open, and empathetic to those same people to understand them.
*stops walking, standing and staring back at the camera*
So once more, I'm running for Underhusen to be the person that fights for your right to be understood and appreciated...a person that fights for Wintreath's future. I promise to continue speaking up for those who feel as if they can't, and to continue making decisions that benefit the whole of Wintreath and its continued progression.
Once again, I thank you for your time and welcome questions from any of you. Until then, let's get back to our regular scheduled programming.
