Ushankas are really useful here. We've had a cold spell lately where temperatures were about -25C to -30C...in the middle of the day. I came back at 10PM from uni one time and the temperature was about -37C, -43C with wind chill. You can do the conversions to F yourself - that's to punish you for using a backwards system

I tie up the ears unless the temperature gets around -20C.

This has been a cold as fuck winter to date. I've never been so happy to wear rabbit fur and lambskin on my head (I wish I had money for one made of mink - they're beautiful and SO warm but they run about 400$.)

It's real fur. The PETA guys can freeze their ass off with their inferior synthetic products. Nothing is as warm as real animal fur.
