Hi Tau
I remember asking you but can't remember if your username was in reference to the number (τ = 6.28318 = 2π) or the race in Warhammer 40K... sorry
It was originally a 2pi reference. However, as I began to delve more into WH40K (the RPs in Aura Hyperia/New Hyperion were WH40K-themed), I realized that I actually like the Tau the most.
This is actually my "primary" avatar (though because of Avatars of the Month, I haven't been using it here much), and it combines both meanings of my username.
Also your campaign made me laugh a few times
especially the end bit of the scrolling banner
Thanks!
So for you my questions are:
Are you going to try to pass an act making Potatoism the official religion of this currently secular region!?

Let me take this opportunity to remind everyone that our current Skrifa the Potatoe Pope was elected on a
promise to make Potatoeism the state church of Wintreath. Thus, we, as loyal subjects of the Spud, must finish what His Holiness started.
So I know in you said that you don't have any specific policies in mind, but what have your thoughts and opinions been on the policies, discussed and enacted this term? And what makes you want to run for the UH this term?
I feel the Speaker Emergency Powers Act certainly would be useful in events where a recall would be too cumbersome (such as this past term). As for the Expansion of Citizenship, Wintreath is a very open community that has been quickly expanding past and beyond NationStates, and I don't think non-NS-playing members should be relegated to second-class, especially those who have been with us for a long time. Nevertheless, the fact remains that we are a community with roots in NationStates, and we shouldn't forget that.
To be honest, I mostly ran because we needed more candidates, and I had a bit of time (though to be fair it was procrastination

) and thought I could help. Usually, IMO, the Underhusen is a very good way for our newer members to get involved in the region, which is why I haven't ever run for election since my first term. So with that aside, Wintreath is markedly different from the first time I served as Skrifa, so I feel I could help while also seeing what has changed. My confidence in the Underhusen's ability to remain above petty politics has also increased in that time (lack of politicization is one of the things I now love about Wintreath), so I'm no longer put off by the possibility of working in a potentially over-politicized environment.
Anyway, thanks for the amusing campaign, and best of luck!
Thanks, and good luck on your reelection!
