I have a question for the candidates: Do you believe that it is just for the King-Emeritus of Ainur to ban those who leave his region from ever coming back out of spite?

Sorry about the lack of response for a bit. I've been contemplating my answer as there are different ways I could have done so. However personally I believe it is somewhat unjust for him to do that, although it is, in a sense, his region (not that I particularly agree).

As to answering my own questions I shall do that in a few hours, as I wish to give other candidates time before I respond to my own question

Well everyone has their own views on spirituality. whether you are spiritual or not is up to the person and is fine either way. Me personally, I find comfort in the potato faith.

Ahem I would like to ask all candidates, especially including @Eldarion , about their thoughts on the ongoing Crisis in Ainur. This is important as Ainur is a region with which we hold a treaty with. I also wish to ask what they think Wintreath, as region which holds a treaty with Ainur, should do.

This is obviously a sensitive subject, i was hesitant to answer at first but i feel getting multiple views (especially unbiased ones) is good. Now I agree with others i've spoken to that the crisis is a terrible thing, regions are places people put time and effort to be a part of so destroying one is very bad. however, King augusts is really the only one capable of changing the situation, He can either take responsibility and fix the situation or just keep doing what he is doing now. Wintreath, while we do have a treaty with them I dont think it matters because this is an internal issue there is nothing to be done on our part.

No it is not just at all. I think what he is doing is reckless and is hurtful. Like i said, regions are places where you get together you have fun and put time into, doing something like this ruins it for everyone. some of those people might even be put off of joining another region.

In response to the tragedy that is happening in Ainur, I am not qualified to speak in depth.  All I know is that there is a need to help and allow the refugees to find solace here in Wintreath.

One last Ainur question: Do you think we should close the embassy with Ainur as part of a stance against tyranny? And do you welcome Eldarion's use of this region as a haven for a government in exile?

I do wish to apologize in advanced if this response makes little sense, I have had little sleep recently. However I do feel like I should answer this question.

As per closing embassies with Ainur, we can not so long as we maintain our treaty, however in the event of a treaty termination I would support such an action occurring. Now with the use of Eldarion using this region as a have for the Government of Ainur which is in Exile, I have no issue with it and welcome it.
