    It seems to me that the core issue with this NSWF thing is cosmopolitanism when it comes to positions of power. Perhaps the people who were both on TNP admin team and the NSWF Committee meant well by applying the information known from one role into the other, but in doing so they acted on a conflict of interest that perhaps was unavoidable...one between their responsibility as TNP admins not to leak an ongoing investigation and their responsibility as members of the NSWF Committee to keep the event as safe as possible.

    I don't know that there should be any action against the people involved, there hasn't been any proof I've seen that they did so maliciously (though I've seen it claimed), but it seems to me that a reasonable outcome would be a ban on administrators taking similar administrator roles in other NS-related regions and organizations.

    They probably picked that acronym on purpose.
