As you're friends with NJ, I'm going to assume you know roughly where to begin with everything. My advice would be read through some of the stickied threads first, get an idea of the kind of theme we have going on here, and then write away to your heart's content!

This is where cities and important locations in Wintreath are created. Post an image, come up with a name, then spin a tale of your location that tells us why it's famous, what's special about it, what makes it a place to live or a place to avoid. I'd advise reading through the thread BEFORE posting something, just to get an idea of the kind of style, but you can of course post what you want there.

I don't know if you guys have looked at the Houses system we have in Wintreath, but this thread has all the relevant information and also allows you to request to join a House of your choosing. There's a separate thread for making a House (and Houses are only RP based atm, there's no real benefit for being in one), but this is where you go if you want to join a preexisting House.

Have you travelled far, and are you in need of some refreshments? A drink, perhaps? Good company? This is where you go for mild roleplay in a tavern, for talking about whatever and whenever you want with any character you can come up with. Drinks aren't expensive, so get stuck in!

This is a project of mine that I'll be turning into an RP soon, so head on over to this thread to get an idea of the history of Wintreath as according to me :p This history and everything else to do with it is my creation and is only canon for my roleplay, so feel free to make up your own stuff that's entirely separate, but if you want to join the House RP this is where you go to get an idea of what's going on. This thread draws on the locations in the Oh, The Places You'll Go thread.

For the most part, our community has agreed that we're a winter-themed region/nation/world with modern day technology achieved through steampunk means. Think Bioshock or Assassins Creed style, gears and levers and steam and bronze. That's not all we do, though, so if you want to create your own version of Wintreath, go ahead! We can never have enough lore and culture after all.
